Maybe a few weeks behind but it looks like they started with one drill rig like they always do.

Re: Anybody has up to date info about the drilling in Lacasse to share?

Drilling usually starts with one drill rig sometine in the month of May, if there are no delays then the first drill hole would have been completed by now. JMHO

Re: Environmental infractions at Teck’s Carmen de Anacollo Chilean copper mine

"The only leverage Teck has with Chile is to make a decision to spend their money elsewhere. They will have a plan B, which typically is to select their next best project and run with it."

The next best project Teck has after QB2 is the Relincho project which is also located in Chile.

Re: Drilling starts this month

Here is a description

ASTER Imagery Study:

ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission Reflection) Imagery is commonly used to map specific types of alteration in bedrock that indicated the possible presence of mineralization. The ASTER study completed at Schaft Creek identified two zones of clay alteration. The first zone occurs in an area that extends from the north end of the GK zone to the ES zone. Mapping and prospecting within this zone of clay alteration has located chalcopyrite mineralization in outcrop and chalcopyrite-bornite mineralization in boulders and stream beds draining the zone. The second zone is located approximately 4 kms southwest of the Schaft Creek deposit, is roughly circular in shape and covers an area that measures 3.0kms by 1.5kms.
