Re: License count and revenue numbers in recent post...?

Oh it matters. If the licensee count doesn't grow exponentially, the price will remain at 4 cents (if we're lucky). An added licensee here and there ain't gonna do it.Taken to it's obvious conclusion, EDIG soon runs out of money and lending sources. Right now it's in "Hail Mary" territory. Maybe Google is Mary....who knows?

Revenue expansion to include EDIG's other products would help but there's not even a whisper concerning those. The longer they go without selling their products the worse it becomes. The competition is developing similar products too, some maybe even better than EDIG's.

And against all odds, I'm still holding. :>):>)

Re: License count and revenue numbers in recent post...?

"Edig has not publically declared any income from the settlement and licensing agreement as of this date."

And I suggest we never will. The amount of secrecy resulting from this NDA policy suggests some kind of "cover up" ......the kind designed to shield important info from future defendants, but if that info has to do with amounts, at this point, everyone can figure out what the average settlement has been. All you have to do is read the financial reports from the company and you have a pretty good idea of the size of the settlements by now. All this assumes EDIG wants the NDAs.

Maybe it's not EDIG. Maybe the defendants insisted on it. Maybe each side has what they consider an important reason for having it. I'd really like to know but, like everything else, we'll probably never know.

Here's another question to chew on. Given the number of licencees now under contract....forced or voluntary, and the amount of revenue currently being generated by them, does anyone have any idea of the total number of licensees it will take to make this company profitable? Seems like hundreds and hundreds.

Re: Check out the top companies in report!

Are your queries directed to me? If so:

"I thought it is now a matter of no more lawsuits ( at this time ) ???"

"At this time" is not forever.

"What's the point of looking at these other players in IT ?"

The implied answer is in your next question.

"Are these IT companies using the same tech or something unique to their own inventions?"

That was the point in my post......unless you mean something else

Re: Check out the top companies in report!

"Key market players covered in the report are GainSpan Corporation, ARM Ltd., Intel, Texas Instruments, Fujitsu ltd., Nest Labs, Cisco Systems Inc., Rockwell Automation, Ecobee Inc., Axeda Corporation and Dassault Systemes."

I wonder if EDIG and Handal have checked to see what tech these companies are using? I suspect they know. There are a  few biggies listed here.

Re: NEST IS DOING GOOD!

And we have a settlement with Google which means the better Nest does, the better we do...right?

I'll believe it when I see the $$$$.

Re: Synap/Inflection

There seems to be no literal translation of "synap". Maybe it's a spin off of "synapse". which is thus:

The definition of a synapse is the junction between two neurons or nerve cells where there is a small gap that neurotransmitters help nerve impulses to cross.

Also, EDIG is not the only busines entity to use the word. This is one.....there may be more.

 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synap

EDIG labels Synap as a trade mark, however:

"The trademark designation notifies others that the product’s name and design are the company’s property. However, this trademark does not protect the company from another company that produces a similar product or uses a similar name."

That'll be $1.97 please. No checks.
