Re: A few thoughts...

It's not an alibi. If you've done any work in Supply Chain Management, contracts are contracts and you can't go around talking about the terms in there unless both parties agree to it.

I'm not sure why that's a hard concept.

A few thoughts...

For years we've been wanting institutions on board with Poet... we have that now and we paid a price for it. Did you think it was going to happen any other way?

Also, let's look at the market cap of this company right now. Is it sitting at $70mil or so? In reality, doesn't that actually seem reasonable? We have: two small private companies, no revenue, unproved IP.

What institution would have bought in for a higher price?

Now let me ask the more important question... why would an institution buy in at all? There are some scenario's that have been talked about like a reverse merger, going private, etc etc. I really doubt those scenarios. Everything they've done to this point has been to be able to get production going (including recently signing agreements under NDA).

What if that NDA agreement included certain amounts of volume that they didn't have the capital at the time to execute on??

I think people on here are going manic and crazy before waiting to see what's actually happening. Remember that you don't lose money until you sell.

In Rainer's famous words, this is a perfect buying opportunity and shareholder value is still there?

But without the jests, I firmly believe there's more to this story and this was simply the price we had to pay to get quick cash.

Share Price over the last 3 years

Every year, around this time, Poet experiences a huge tank in share price. The chart is telling in this regard. Last year it tanked about .40 cents, and then in 2 days it was regained.

I had a sell order in for .55cents to sell all my shares, and then when I looked at the 5 year chart, I decided to cancel it. I guess time will tell if it was a right decision, but I'm expecting a turnaround based off the historic chart.

Re: .58 close. Another day of increased shareholder value (Rainer)

Rainer,

In what world are share price and shareholder value not intrinsically tied to each other? A companies potential, technicals, blue sky, fundamentals, etc etc... none of that matters if your share price goes no where or keeps going down.

I have x shares at x value which equals my total shareholder value. Nothing else matters unless the share price goes up. A company could be making acquisitions or inventing AI all the way until backruptcy. If the shareprice plummets, so does your value, regardless of how great they are.

This isn't always a glass half-full situation. It's just a glass, with water in it.

With that being said, I think the current downward trend is short-lived, and I expect something to turn it around before the end of the year.

Re: Initial THoughts on Customer Presentation re AOC

I don't think so. I think this selling is based upon the Public Offering news release. It generally means dilution or cash needs for a venture company. There's very little explanation behind it.

Larger companies would have laid out exactly what the cash is for and you would see an uptick in the share price, but for a venture company... this is what we get.

Re: Initial THoughts on Customer Presentation re AOC

Not really... the one slide is talking technical (ie: prototypes in 2017) and the new slide is talking market (selling in 2018).

There is a difference, but really only the CEO can tell us if we're interpretating correctly this Friday.
