Interesting Report

Found an interesting report from the USGS: usgs.gov/fs/2012/3039/contents/fs12-3039 (Report PDF - the USGS) Assessment of Undiscovered Oil and Gas Resources of Four East Africa Geologic Provinces. Seems these African Coastal regions which include Tanzania and Mozambique, hold about 441.1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

In another article I read it states that "the gas discoveries offshore in Mozambique and Tanzania are large and world class with potential for more to come", and yet another states that "East African Oil is projected to beat that of the Middle East in global Markets over the next 20 years".

BHI 8K of Oct 19, 2012, "Baker Hughes is expanding its presence in the growing East African petroleum province with estimates of over 100 Tcf of gas in place, this region holds some of the largest global discoveries in recent years. By opening a new facility in Mozambique and mobilizing directional drilling, logging-while-drilling and wireless services, Baker Hughes is ideally positioned to address this deep water market".

I think that RRHI/MBMI is ideally positioned to supply barite from their world class Dodge Mine to support the drilling and exploitation of these new oil and gas discoveries as well as the Gulf of Mexico.

Re: POII and the imaging modality

Been monitoring the octnews.org site. Who knows another opportunity might present itself for me to invest in and worry over.

Sounds like AP has just about all the ducks in a row to get the barite to Beira. Perfect timing too. Sounds as if there have been some recent big discoveries of oil off the east coast of Africa. Just might have to bump that annual tonnage number up a little once everything gets going and drilling.

Gold prices appear to be positioning themselves to torment people but that didn't hurt RRHI much. Hopefully AP has perfected his perfect timing abilities to coincide the start up of alluvial surface mining of gold to the next spike in gold.

Been following the yahoo board. I think the name is appropriate. But with respect to the bantering over barite prices and shipping tonnage, if you have the time or desire, take a look at post #2175 (July 2012) and post # 2192 over on ihub. Those posts were to have come from an expert.

I appreciate the info and insight

POII and the imaging modality

Anyone have any information on POII or if Stan has any plans to get the modality R&D up and running again? Still think it may be a good investment waiting for an infusion of $$$.

Re: now it' gone

There is certainly alot of bs going around but I don't think it is/was on the company website or in an SEC filing. We'll just have to wait and see where the real bs is coming from. Beady little brains I suspect.

Re: mbmi and bhi

RRHI as the parent company owns appx. 90% of the outstanding shares of MBMI. As MBMI becomes profitable so does RRHI.

The news was not in a PR, but in an 8K filing with the SEC. Pretty sure there would be severe negative and legal ramifications were the information false.

Re: Is This The End?

Not convinced that we will see the end of RRHI but it appears the Dental Imaging modality is gone.

Maybe 2013 will be the year of the Raptor and with it an opportunity to invest in the entity that used to be Lantis Laser. I still think it has great potential.
