Right now there is a press conference sharing information about an undertaking which is sending nano-crafts for lightwindtraveling. These objects are based on a wafer containing all necessary tools for traveling and research as well as a lightsail. The missions target is Alfa Centauri.
Quite interessting to learn about this whilst we are also learning about crossing the borders or Moores Law.

Well, easy, isn't it? We, as the agoracom-forum, should define an instance posing questions for us instead. At least one could mention in the mail, your intention to share (quote) this information with fellow shareholders on agoracom. I'd rather doubt, they wouldn't answer for that reason. It is not common to quote a mail communication between individuals publicly, at least in my business it isn't. Indirect speech, on the other hand, is totally fine. In regard to keep indirect speech information trustworthy, I'd appreciate to see those who repeatedly used to be in touch with CC, keep on their good work with new IR.
I'd like to add, what I learned last weekend by someone working for a major ERP software company, beeing in charge for building new data centers soley in the cloud area.
Maybe that adds some value to the calculation.
They are generating new 1-2 TB per day, with each TB using 30 CPUs (well, the CPUs are using the TBs). In terms of data modelling they recently were able to reduce filesizes by x10. Nevertheless, growth is stated and anticipated with tripple digit. Above that, I was informed that these companies decided to build their data centers themselves, since they won't find contractors doing it probably.
To point out:
* developments in data modelling is seen as kind of puffer and necessary to be cost-effective. this puffer is just a step of many, improving data centers, it is limited and will be eaten fast
* increasing no of CPUs leads to more interconnections(!). guessing that there is a correlation between advanced data modelling/processing and no of CPUs.
* growth: tripple digit
* ERP cloud is just on fragment

I'd like to ask the tech-savy and very patient contributors why there is no advantage to speed and form factor within the consumer segment (slide 7 - "Segment Value Propositions" - POET Technologies Corporate Overview). Could this difference in contrast to Data Comms/HPCs be conveying any kind of message/information?
Above that, what's the difference between POET and PET? - No, regarding the latter, just kidding.
