Re: PR Tomorrow?

While I have been thought of as demanding at times, I don't see why we can't have both. Why not ANNOUNCE, not mention, the completion of the trials at the conference and simultaneously provide a PR over the wires? Best of both worlds.

Re: Takeover chatter is growing

I completely agree with you, Ezra. I haven't been able to help myself and chuckle a bit every time I read about a buyout at this stage in the game. My thoughts run more along the line that Afrezza is just the launching pad for Technosphere and Al has a 5 year plan in place. I don't think all wants to sell this company. I think he wants to prove that Technosphere and the inhaler work and Afrezza is the most headline-grabbing, jaw-dropping means to an end.

Don't see a sell happening any time soon. For now, I just sit on my hands trying not to click on the sell button. I guess if Al can do it... so can I.

Re: "Created Controversy", "Armchair Quaterbacks", & "Devils Advocates"

OPC,

I think Jerg speaks for a lot of us in his posting. You on the other, I don't understand what you mean by you wanting your holdings to do well here. Last I read, you didn't have any holdings were out. I pose a sincere question: Are you now short or hopeful that the stock goes down so you can buy back in? I would urge you to choose your words carefully as intentionally trying to hurt someone else's position to improve your own is immoral and quite despicable, that is if you were to solicit my opinion.

I mostly watch the show and have tried a few jokes here and there that have fallen flat. But what I haven't done is tried to convince anyone of anything only to improve my position. I don't throw grenades. I speak my mind as does Jerg or anyone else for that matter. You will likely say that you have a right to speak yours and that's true but just know that many have seen your true colors through your actions both here and on the yahoo board in your exchange with the afrezza user poster.

I suggest you set the example and follow agoracom's rules yourself lest you banned again. It's easy to bully people with the threat of banishment when they cannot see your face. All you have given us is a picture of a green toad. I'm sure you are better than that.

FYI for you: you mentioned a while ago that you must have missed the brochure in the mail, the one I posted for you all to read. I assure you, sir, you did not miss it and but I did find that humorous. You simply are not on the same mailing list and you do not know what Mr. Mann has in the works and you do not know what he currently plans on doing with his liquidity. Easily anticipated as your followup would be, no you can not bait me into disclosing what I know both related and unrelated to MNKD. I simply ask that you to look in the mirror before you write more pages and pages of opinions that are absolute in your eyes alone. Hubris is a terrible flaw that we all must avoid. I wish you well.

Good day.

Re: The $100 million dollar question

Speculation is the name of the game for the next few months. However, I wouldn't be surprised if AU's guess of a combo deal isn't too far off the mark although I don't believe big pharma will be a piece of that puzzle. They will not step in until they have a clear winner. I'd be shocked if they blink before approval. I also wouldn't be; they are cold blooded and calculating with eyes and ears in the darkest of places.

If I know Al Mann like I think I do, a "greatest generation" card carrier, the phones of the world's wealthiest humans have been ringing off the hook these past few weeks and many of them are flying in and out from all over the world to hear a private pitch, many not for the first time I'm sure. Churchill summed it up best in 1941 about when to give up. I think we all know how convincing and passionate Mann can be when discussing Afrezza. But like I said, speculation is the name of the game and I do enjoy this game. Now you must excuse me for another while... I have to take this call.
