New on GBB website - 68.3 m of 2.16 g/t

New updates within the presentation and fact sheets on the website

GR-10-53 intersected 68.3 metres of 2.16 g/t
Au within a wider near-surface interval of 110.5 metres
(3.5 metres to 114 metres) grading 1.34 g/t Au as reported
in GBB's September 9 news release. The hole was drilled
perpendicular to Vein #2 and is believed to closely

BMR response to the environmental study release

THis is getting very interesting!!

September 7, 2010

Interesting News From Gold Bullion Development

Gold Bullion Development (GBB, TSX-V) came out with news after the close today and it was an interesting surprise. While Gold Bullion confirmed that a much anticipated exploration update and additional drill results will be released this week, they also announced that GENIVAR, their geological consultant, has commenced a Baseline Environmental Study for Granada which goes to show just how far along this project has really come.

A Baseline Environmental Study is a precurser to a full Environmental Impact Study which would be concurrent with a Pre-Feasibility Study once the particulars of a deposit (43-101 confirmation of size and other important facts and details) have been defined and confirmed. Obviously Frank Basa is thinking hard already about the future for the Granada Gold Property as a potential producer. He is a metallurgical engineer who has been involved in past producing situations with Agnico-Eagle and other companies. It’s clear he believes Granada is destined for production at some point down the road. In the meantime the drills keep turning. Given the vastness of the LONG Bars Zone – our boots have been on the ground there as BMR readers know – Gold Bullion could easily drill another 100,000 metres and still have a large number of targets to explore. This is an immense project with major upside potential, which is why it’s good to see the company thinking beyond today and planning for what could be a very bright future.

BMR Interview With Frank Basa At Hole #78

From Montreal, Quebec, 7:45 pm eastern

We experienced the vastness of the LONG Bars Zone today as we ventured out to Hole #78 for an interview with Gold Bullion Development (GBB, TSX-V) President and CEO Frank Basa. Hole #78 was visually very impressive as reported by Gold Bullion July 29. Through the end of July it was also the easternmost hole drilled in the company’s 20,000 metre Phase 2 program, nearly 400 metres east of the Preliminary Block Model where a potential non-compliant resource of 2.4 to 2.6 million ounces has been outlined. Click on the link immediately below to listen to BMR’s interview with Basa. Below that link is another picture from Hole 78 as Basa and a GENIVAR geologist hold up a LONG Bars Zone geological map. Much of the Block Model is shown on this map (far left) and you can see how it is dwarfed by the surface area of just a portion of the very promising eastern extension.

Re: Mintaka Musings...

I was hoping to see results this week as well...but they did not have anything on Tuesday when they released the update, so even if they recieved results today they would have to review them (I imagine could take a bit of time?) and then draft a news release etc. I would not think they would post on a Friday either so my guess is that its probably looking like mid next week.

But I am very optimistic and in for the long haul....

Assays and Year Review

From yesterdays release:

"This transaction meets our stated objective of acquiring assets with near term production potential. This very advanced project will complement our exploration properties in the Beardmore Geraldton gold camp where we plan a follow up program this summer after a highly successful 2009 campaign".

I wonder if this is the year end review built into this statement? It would be nice if they followed this release with a more detailed release on assays, 2009 results and 2010 outlooks.

Pending Assays

I would have thought that today was the day for release of any outstanding assay results.....Its been so long now that cant help but think that the any results will not be that strong.

Maybe this conference will help in some kind of JV or like Red says maybe there is something in the works - or maybe theres just nothing at all?

Its been a year for me now...really finding it hard to keep positive
