Re: Now I know why...

I really don't understand this post. The markets are rediculous right now and Noront is not the only company that is getting screwed over there are companies with just as good projects getting hammered away at. In terms of them exploring where you want them too well ofcourse they are not going to listen to some random shareholder. This is an exploration company and is going to base an exploration project on some sort of scientific basis and on the recomendations of the geologists and advisory committee. If you really want to start dictating the exploration why not go back to school get your PHD in economic geology preferably a focus on magmatic sulphides and apply for a job. And if you already have that PHD send in a resume. And in terms of exploration timing im pretty sure there are a wide array of limitations (ie. the weather and location) that the average shareholder wont understand because I doubt every noront shareholder is a geologist. And in terms of consistant goals its very normal in exploration to have focuses changed. Its called being dynamic if something fails try something different. And truthfully Noront is exploring what you want them to we all invested in a company with a Ni-Cu-Pge focus and thats exactly what they are going after.

I understand everyones frustration but this is the nature of the game exploration companies are always a risky investment and Noront is proof. If you cant handle the ride you might aswell just get off. This negativity in an already negative market is clearly NOT helping.

Re: 60 cents Sum4All

If I can just get involved here the whole heavier core thing is a very folksy way of looking at things. As a geologist I can assure you that the percent nickel does not make a significant difference in the weight of the actual rocks. And the weight of the rocks is not what keeps companies from exploring deeper the problems with deep exploration arise when you factor in the cost of drilling at increasing depth due to the number of rods needed the types of rods the bending of the holes and the added man hours, so no its not because the rocks are too heavy to bother exploring for. And the whol there must be another 17M tons deeper is maybe true maybe it isn't deposits dont necessarily have deeper counter parts thats not how these systems work. Also just because something is high in sulphides until we understand the Ni tenors the weight added by increased sulphide may not even be an indication of what is high or low grade.

Re: No Change

i have been in industry for years now and can assure you the policy of not reporting visuals is very standard industry wide. I am not a hundred percent sure but I also believe its against 43-101 policy to report visuals in press releases perhaps someone from the legal community can check on that. Also I dont think it necessarily benefits the insiders because anytime really nice core is pulled people are subject to trading blackouts.

Re: Cliff's camp

its actually not just the natives. The whole camp has walked out, natives and non naives alike. Can we all at the very least agree that Noront has been handling all personnel and first nations issues very well?

Re: We at Noront

i meant We refering to all of us shareholders. We are all in this together. I guess it was just pride of ownership I suppose.

Re: "we at Noront"...(DOUGER)

no i meant "we" collectively as shareholders. We are all just as much a part of this company as anyone else. I can assure you if I was an employee I wouldn't be allowed to post on here. Just like everyone else just a follower and investor
