What if Lori is waiting to announce the spin off as a thank you to all our stay long investors just before she releases a good news release? There are so many possibilities but one thing for sure, if you cash in the chips now, there will be no big gains and if you wait there may be even less. I am hanging in there like I did with Bre-X and will take it as a loss if it happens. One thing I know, nothing has changed with this investment for a long time and I do think we are closer to the end. I, as many others will be so relieved to know the wondering is over and my pockets are full or empty. I do believe that all is well with Tesoro and that Lori is actually finding out exactly or at least within reason what the property holds. I don't want to sell until I can get every cent out of this investment I can and am sure that Lori is no different.
There is a reason Lori is not releasing anything right now IMO, just don't know why.
Does anyone know who is at the property now and if the drilling is going well or halted and how many hours a day drilling is working? Anyone know if any rigs or key people have moved off the Tesoro and on to Chance?

Actually Tom and Jerry, I posted "anger breeds frustration and frustration breeds bad judgement" and not management. In any case, I do agree with you that a CEO should not be late for a meeting they have called. A few minutes is acceptable but no one has said exactly how late she really was.
In all her interviews I have watched, she is not a clear speaker at all and the same thoughts have crossed my mind. I don't think it fair to be saying she was "tipsy" or drunk or even drinking unless one knows for sure.
The reason I posted in the first place was to express the frustration I and maybe others have about all the negative posting and bickering that isn't helping the SP. I think it is time to revisit the good things that are in the past, and try to entise buying this stock rather than show negative responses. It is time to move forward and either hold or sell and the SP is only going to be what the demand says it will be. For now we have no news, 8 years is a long time for most of you and I can realize the frustration for all of you.
For now, job at hand for SLI is to prove up amounts and locations of gold and minerals. IMO she is doing this in a slow but cost efficient way. Someone mentioned she said she had other assays in hand. I would think she is looking after them to release a good NR in order to bring the SP back up (JMO). For now, positive is the word and we as stock holders should be helping out best way we can. (MOO) my opinion only. And you thought it was a cow. ;o)
Hello all. I am newbie here and have been following the board for about 4 or 5 months. I do not have many shares because I bought in at an average of $2.15 therefore loosing 75% of my investment.
I have to say that Hog, Bow and Sculpin, Mr. Hobbs and numerous others have given me a lot of information and knowledge on Tesoro. Thanks to all.
I have also seen the negative that is spreading all the time and IMO it is not helping our stock price at all. If you are long on this stock, great and so am I.
In regards to Lori and yesterday's meeting, it was only what it was advertised in the PR. Frustration breeds anger and anger breeds bad judgement. Lets look at this positive and spread positivity to people who read these posts.
What if lori has a plan to find out just what this property holds before going public with the news. It may be her plan to buy time in order to make sure that we all get what we paid for and not get shorted because of veins and anomalies she did not find. It would be horrible to sell to a buyer for $10 only to find out a year or two later that company struck a find worth millions more than we sold it for.
According to the meeting, no holes have been drilled into the ovoid or anomaly, that does not mean that they were drilling to the ovoid but maybe just above it. Maybe these smaller rigs do not have the capability of drilling that deep. Not sure.
What if the anomaly is another rich meneral that is in high demand. We know gold is there but maybe there is something else there to. What ever the plan is, there are very many positives I have read here and found in other sources. Hang in there because this thing could last for a few years in order to complete the drill program including the deep drilling. Lets keep our cool, and if you are overly upset at yesterdays meeting, it was what it was supposed to be (from what I have read in the NR and here). We are all looking for that payday. Obviously all here have decided to stay long so relax, wait and hopefully they find what they are looking for in order to give proper data and proof to a potential buyer who will pay us for Everything There. JMO and hoping not to upset anyone.
