I read that investing in copper link and what really puzzles me is these analysts and do they know anything about mining???

they said they don't see Teck going forward:

"the Investment Doctor made a similar statement, noting that he doesn’t expect Schaft Creek to move forward in the near future due to lackluster commodity prices."

I found that funny because by the time commodity prices are rising, it'll take a few years go get a mine actually up and running and Teck would have missed the boat and worst risk missing the cycle. It's one of the reasons Teck looks at demand 5+ years out, not on todays prices which is what these analysts seems to be so focused on.

For me I would not put a cent more, I am holding more than enough of this stock (around 50% of my portfolio). There are blue chips doing better and some dividend paying ones. BUT I am riding this out till the end, it seems prudent to me to jump out after 2+ years of waiting. what's another 6+ months? (I REALLY HOPE that's all!)

diversify! I would not dump everything into one basket hoping for a payday, I already put half my basket in there! my other non stock investments are doing much better than this, which is good to have so the other half isn't fully on your back asking what the heck are you doing with our money. :)

thanks for clearing that up remedy, I wasn't sure just because DM stepped down if that makes him an insider or not.

I was just wondering back in the past someone linked all the big shareholders of the stock and for the life of me I could not find it since I don't see a search function here.

Is David Mc Donald still part of the team? because on the copperfox website it still shows him as a director, even though we know he stepped down. And if he even tries to sell would this be reported or can it just be sold silently?

If you have dry powder, I would hold off on the buying until the price actually stablizes for a few days. we've been on a constant slide here and the sellers are just selling into, so if you wait you can probably pick some up at a good price.

Like some others I don't think we are going to see any news until 2014.

CanadaGrant or anyone else on agroacom I was not pointing it at any of you guys because you guys really do back it up and your complaints are very very valid. I'm underwater as much as some of you but I still can't sell because TECK hasn't left the building yet, after waiting for 2 1/2 years what's another half year more to me? it would kill me more selling and seeing something happen a few months down the road than anything. Which I think most of us are in that same mentality now.

I'm already mentally expecting this stock to wallow in the low 30's in december before we even hear of anything and there's not much we can do about this if something even as small as a 10k trade can knock this down 2-3 cents easily.

I was just mainly looking at stockhouse and incredulous on how crazy it was over there, there was like a post even hour and just insults hurling at each other with people barely talking about the stock. If any of that happened here they would have been long gone, which was why I like the posts here many of you put up.
