The directors and CEO's

Agoracom can you please ask the directors how in good conscience can they line their pockets with options so soon after this dissident action and when the share price is depressed therby taking advantage of the low price to ensure a future profit. Why not issue options for the shareholders who have stood by so loyally? This is totally unfair to existing sharholders and is very oportunistic. It serves no benifit to issue options to those who got there by default. They are paid a fair wage I'm sure and a bonus on top would be fine. Blatant profiteering is not a sign of good management or a sign of integrity by the new board but a slap in the face to what is fair to current sharholders.

Re: Is it possible

I'm getting sick of all the juniors issuing options during a depressed market. If we didn't have the dissident action we'd be in no different place than we are now except we wouldn't be handing out more options.

Work for a public company and you get options and shareholders get what. A hope and a preyer that the board of directors will do something to make our share price go through the roof when in reality it's the drill bit that is going to make or break us and an interested major willing to fork out $billion plus in this market?

What ever happened to work hard and you earn a good salary and a bonus. Now they line their pockets with options and manipulate the stock? Is that what I see going on here?

Re: Noront AGM - AGORACOM Presence

Given how many people wanted to attend last years meeting and the obvius intentions of a many to attend this year why wasn't a larger venue booked??? Will CEO's or those that they put in charge of such hings ever get with the program? Book a BIG venue to ensure there is enough room for all.

Maybe they can call everyone and ask if they are coming? Send out the voting info early enough and include an RSVP? And why did we receive our voting info early this year, why not last year. That funny when your company is involved in a proxy war they actually get things done.

The events of the past month are a lesson for public companies in more ways than one.

Re: Knight's in White Satin/Disagree with ya Cos

Yeah I hope the voter turnout is historic on this one. I also hope the board has learnt their lesson and watch out on who they get into bed with in the future. Maybe Rousseau knew they were done for and dumped a bunch the other day?

I haven't been reading to much here of late as I'm too busy. My opinions are mirrored by many here and I have to comend those that have taken the time to support NOT during this hostile takeover attempt of the board. I think the board has received a big wake up call.
