Re: The new location for the THM

I was also thinking Real Sports by the ACC. Maybe the upstairs might be avilalble for us. Another spot might be the Steam Whistle Brewing accross from the Roger's Dome and Aquarium. I believe they have group seating.

Re: POET Agora Investor Day attendance poll

My wife and I would very much like to attend this after meeting.
Thank you for arranging it.

$1.35 close

Great return if you picked some up around $1.00 earlier today, sure hope it was some of us longs here as we deserve it and hope the day traders got burned. I firmly believe there is lots more good still to come.

POET Technologies achieves '3rd Party Foundry' milestone

POET Technologies achieves '3rd Party Foundry' milestone

Reaches 40/100-nm transfer, additional capital raised
TEXT SIZE bigger text smaller text 2015-02-14
Toronto-based POET Technologies Inc., developer of the planar opto-electronic technology platform for monolithic fabrication of integrated circuit devices containing both electronic and optical elements on a single semiconductor wafer, has completed its ‘3rd party foundry’ 40/100-nm transfer milestone.

The firm also announced $4-million in additional capital raised from institutional and accredited shareholders through the exercise of warrants during the month of January 2015, and the resignation of Dr. Adam Chowaniec from its Board, due to personal health reasons.

The Company completed its ‘3rd Party Foundry’ 40/100-nm transfer milestone consisting of completing the critical layers of the Transistor Fabrication Process. This flow process will allow the Company to generate more complex prototypes and test structures. As the POET process node size shrinks, this facilitates new industry innovations and furthers development work. This new epitaxial flow process includes new innovations in the POET prototype fabrication process. These innovations were necessary to continue the optimization work of the 100 and 40-nm foundation devices of our technology.

“This is a significant step for our ‘lab-to-fab’ transition where this new flow at our ‘3rd Party Foundry’ accelerates and adds repeatability and quality to our manufacturing process necessary for our next two significant milestones expected at the end of Q1: a 100-nm ring oscillator and a 50 GHz VCSEL,” says Dan DeSimone, chief technical officer.

Re: Nice update...The new CP provides much insight

I really like the application examples outlined on pg. 16 of the presentation. Especially the solar cell integration under Analog and Digital

·CCD imaging, visible and IR

·Applicable at all geometry levels from 3u to sub 28nm

·TJ solar cell integrated with power control for all mobile systems

Re: Sheldon

Another possibility is Sheldon’s maxed out in contribution room to his RRSP. Thus the only way he can exercise (purchase) the POET warrants is to sell some shares in his RRSP account in order to create cash to purchase the warrants. Does anyone remember when those 75 cent warrants expire? I believe it’s 3 years after the issue date. Regardless, I hope this insider trading is now over.
