Re: It's interesting watching shareholders.

I am guilty of being an amateur investor that sits on the sidelines and reads the posts of those that know a lot more about this than I can ever hope to. I've been into Allana since March of 2010 after reading a lot of very usefull information at the SH board before it turned into a clown car.

Most of my earlier posts were on SH and was mainly information I found about Ethiopia and how much they were progressing from the basket case of Africa to one of the leading economies in Africa.

I still believe in Allana and that good things will come to those who wait. I can't say it hasn't been frustrating. Especially when almost all the news that has ever come out has been positive but the SP never seems to move in a positive fashion.

I am glad that there are people who take the time to post valuable information on this board. I appreciate that they do the heavy lifting for layabouts like me.

Still believing that AAA is FTW.

Re: Meeting at investor cubed

Thanks for attending and taking the time to summarize. Your notes, along with the updated Corporate Presentation seems to confirm that SOP is clearly part of the future plans.

Interesting how not long ago, SOP was barely mentioned.

Re: Allana mentioned

Reformatted the salient part for clarity... Hope you don't mind

MB: The good news is the potash market is probably pretty close to a bottom right now because of big producers flooding the market. As the middle class consumer grows worldwide, I think we’re going to have much more demand for fertilizer, particularly overseas.

A Canadian company called Allana Potash Corp. (AAA:TSX; ALLRF:OTCQX) has a big, low-cost potash project in Ethiopia that is going fertilize Africa and some of Asia. It has an offtake agreement with Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL:TASE) that could be transformational for the fertilizer space itself. This 80% offtake agreement places Allana in a different league from its competitors.

These are the Discovery Investments we love to understand.

The stock is in strong hands; Liberty Metals & Mining, an offshoot of an insurance company, is a big shareholder. If I were investing in potash companies, I would pick some producing companies overseas to supply demand overseas. Allana fits that bill, and the stock is trading for CA$0.38.

Some investors are nervous about Ethiopia, but the asset is there and the management is excellent. I know CEO Farhad Abasov very well. I’ve worked with him on other situations. I will be shortly travelling to Ethiopia to visit the Allana site.

The fertilizers are going to be very strong over the next few years as demand for protein skyrockets from the urbanization of the emerging world’s new middle class. Be patient and select good management with quality assets and sustainable business plans.

Re: More tough times for Saskatchewan

Interesting how some posters on SH complained about the risks of developing a mine in a country like Ethiopia because of the political risks. So here we have, federally and provincially, governments basically legislating how the railways should run their businesses because it suits their immediate political whims.

What next? Will they stop the takeover of a large, PRIVATELY OWNED Potash producer because it looks good ploitically? Oh wait, they did that already.

The point is, although this may be good for grain farmers, it shows that no jurisdiction has a monoply on playing fair.

Re: This board is starting to

This is what SH was like 4 years ago. Good posts, information, discussions. But then it went to the dark side. Hopefully, we are done with that crowd or at least are able to keep a lid on the childish behaviour.

Re: Hey what's this?

Am so glad that after 3 years in the wilderness I find not 1, but 2 forums where actual discussions of actual information related to Allana are occuring. Just a little investor looking forward to an exciting few years. And hopefully profitable as well.
