St. Elias Mines

Welcome To the St. Elias Mines HUB On AGORACOM Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company

There seems to be a lot of confussion about what it takes to remove an officer of the company. Shareholders do not vote for company officers but they are in fact appointed by the directors. That being said it is in the SLI article of incorperation that the President, CEO or Managing director must also be a director.

The new directors that where just selected to the board are only temporary and must be elected by the shareholders at the next AGM unless there is a special meeting before the AGM and they are elected at that time.

The shareholders only have control over the company through the elected directors and have no say in who the officers will be. If you want to change an officer you need to have a majority of the directors in farvour of the change.

This can be viewed in the article of incorperation, PART 19, Paragraph 19.1 and 19.2
