Agnico's currency just got a lift this past week for payment of any future acquisitions with its securities. Usually, a company doesn't like to exchange stock for new takeovers when their securities are depressed, IAMGOLD is an example. April 26th, AEM reported for the quarter 46 cents versus 27 cents, excluding any contributions from the closed Goldex Mine which investors really liked. It seems the shorts got a big surprise with those earnings. It couldn't happen to a finer group of people.
