The two side of valuations represented are by the followers of fundamentals and the chart and momentum people who can have their influence on price. Since fundamentals seem to propel prices, charts and such are just like weather vanes showing the direction of which way the fundamental wind is blowing. Many times the charts are painted in an attempt to create doubt of known facts and professional forecasts. Sometimes activity, as we have witnessed, seems to feel like we are in a casino at times and it's just about numbers and the number strategy but still, fundamentals over the long term will prevail just like they always have.
