What I actually said about PTSC being "done" was, "...absent a very low-percentage chance of a change in current status, PTSC is, IMO, done". That doesn't mean it is impossible for other settlements to occur, but it does mean that such settlements, if any at all are negotiated after this development with the Markman ruling, will probably be considerably less than before.

Why would anyone pay more when PTSC/TPL have been trounced by this ruling? Sure, there is some value in avoiding the possibility of a reversal on appeal and the costs involved of further defending such, but if you actually think the value of our position has been increased by the Markman ruling, we'll just agree to disagree.
