Bought a new Vette in 1979 $10,400 white with red interior, drove it off the show room floor to my good friends body shop and said to him, "I want you to paint my car" he said, "it's brand new" and I said, "I don't like the paint job" he said, "what color do you want me to paint it?" and I said, "white" he said "it is white" and I said, "I know but I want it perfect." He painted my Vette and it was perfect, he took every blemish and inperfection out of the entire body and painted it like a show car. My friend has since passed in 2006 and all this talk of Corvettes brought back great memories of him. Count me in on the Black and Gold.
