I'd wager that Otteson had a sit down with both DL and PTSC. He probably is very tired of their BS, because this has been a costly loss of opportunity and manpower committment for him. I suspect he spelled out very clearly the precarious position they both would be in should he decide to reconsider his representation/prosecution or financial arrangements at this critical stage in the MMPs remaining patent life.

As a result, my speculation is that his TPL claim was voluntarily and independently satisfied by DL and PTSC; read PAID in full.
