SUMMARY:
Notice is hereby given that in view of th
e shutdown of the Federal Government, the
U.S. International Trade Commission has determin
ed to extend until October 24, 2013, the date by
which it decides whether to review the final Initi
al Determination (“ID”) in the above-captioned
investigation, and until December 19, 2013, the target
date for completion of the investigation.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
The Commission instituted this investigation on May
2, 2012, based on a complaint filed by Technology Pr
operties Limited, LLC (“TPL”) of Cupertino,
California. 77
Fed. Reg.
26041 (May 2, 2012). The complaint alleges violations of section 337
of the Tariff Act of 1930, as am
ended, 19 U.S.C. § 1337, by reason of
infringement of six patents.
On August 2, 2013, the Commission Administrative
Law Judge (“ALJ”) issued the ID, finding no
violation of section 337. On August 19, 2013,
the parties filed petitions for review, and on
August 27, 2013, the parties filed res
ponses to each other’s petitions.
Currently, the Commission deadline fo
r whether to review the ID (

19 C.F.R. § 210.43(d)) is
October 21, 2013, and the ta
rget date for completion
of the investigation (
see id.
§ 210.51) is
December 18, 2013, after accounting for tolling
in view of the shutdown of the Federal
Government in October 2013.
