The decision could be based on the experts from Qualcomm, TI, and the other company I can't remember. It is about PLL systems and whether or not a ring oscillator relies on the external crystal to generate a clock signal. For me, what does "rely" mean."

Common sense to me dictates TPL would not have subpoenaed these outside firms, unless TPL was confident of legal support by Qualcomm, TI, et al. I expect these outside experts to provide testimony which backs up TPL's position and would expect these firms were fully briefed on the "Entire" & PLL issues prior to trial. Virt
