Sorry about your auto accident. The scenario you described is obviously ridiculous, but, unfortunately, "the system" is based largely on greed, and is thus unlikely to change. That's applicable to the situation with PTSC as well, and with our nation as a whole --- but as to the latter subject, I'll stop before I step up onto the soapbox.
