Yes, there is a distinction. The use of the asterisk is used to denote a distinction, a difference. The real question is what is that difference. I have wondered if it has to do with some legal issue, like if we win our case then you will have to buy a license. Sort of like they paid for an option to buy a piece of property sometime in the future. In this case it would be an option to buy when (if) we win the court case.

As to Apple, I have always wondered about that one for sure. After my experience at the SHM and the discussion there, I am more convinced there is an agreement with Apple*. Others who were there can state their take on the segment when the question was posed and discussed. Just what that ageement is can only be known by DL and the BOD and our legal team. And of course Apple would know too.
