Even if Mr. Otterson is a genius, and even though he will almost certainly have the support of the TPL team, it does seem like he will have an incredible amount of "catching up" to do in order to get up to speed against all of the lawyers hired by the multinational defendants in the T3 cases, especially within the relatively short time frame before the Markman.

Still, they're only asking for 75 days, which is a "blip" in litigation time. But frankly, I'm worried whether 75 days is enough based on the description of the work involved.

It will be interesting to see the ruling. The judge could say, "Sorry, guys, you knew the time frame when you decided to get involved", although, IMO, unless our opponents come up with some real basis of prejudice toward their clients, the likelihood is that the request will be granted.

As always, we shall see.
