There are a multitude of companies out there with synergistic offerings. Check out Frontier Technologies (www.fti-net.com) which has already breached the Gov't contracting hurdle, providing software solutions/data integration services. Same targets - military, law enorcement/homeland security, healthcare.
I happen to know the CEO and Chairman of FTI. And he has been made aware of PDSG/CrossFlow and recognizes the synergy. I also (pure coincidence) know one of their key software engineers.
The point here is that there are a lot of companies pursuing this market, and a lot of companies with synergistic products/capabilities. Some already have their foot in the door (including PDSG IMO). We're not alone. But we do have an apparent "advocate" in HP - and that is significant, along with the successes in real world "trials".
I certainly haven't given up hope for PDSG. But at the same time I recognize that there is competition and some "weird stuff" regarding the purchase price (management?).
FWIW,
