I'm afraid you guys are making the same mistake that I once did.

I used to thank that "royalties" had to be ongoing payments over time based on product flow or some other criteria, and that a one-time payment was referred to, exclusively, as a "licensing fee".

I was corrected by a reliable source. Even just a one-time payment is considered a "royalty".
