It is not a new accounting system, but they may treat certain (not all) future revenues in a different manner; the implication being that certain new licensing deals may be structured differently than those in the past.  There are various accounting rules that deal with revenue recognition and they will need to be applied appropriately in varying circumstances.  The insertion of the language into the recent filing is leading some to believe, perhaps meritoriously, that perhaps the recent settlement involves installments and/or royalties etc... that may need to be accounted for in a different fashion.  Unfortunately I did not take the time to read a prior Q to see if that language already has appeared previously.
