Currently the company controls properties totaling approximately 26,011 acres (about 41 square miles) which are located over what management considers some of North America’s richest mineralized regions for copper, gold, silver, molybdenum (moly), and uranium.

Correct. Stock in LBSR, or at least stock options may be at play in addtion to partial ownership in the Hay Mountain project. Another way of going about this include an increasing interest in the Hay Mountain project over time, if it is spun off as a separate entity (understanding that it is already set up for that).
