It didn't look simple or easy, but you could have gotten out if you voted against the reorganization, as explained in 'Dissent Rights' section of the Dec 2nd Mgmt Info Cir.
....Dissenting Shareholders are entitled, in addition to any other right such dissenting Shareholder may have, to dissent and to be paid by the Corporation the fair value of the Common Shares held by such dissenting Shareholder, determined as of the close of business on the last Business Day before the day on which the Reorganization Resolution from which such dissenting Shareholder dissents was adopted....
