Yellow Media (YPG) is Canada’s leading local commercial search provider and largest directory publisher. YPG has been an industry leader since it published its first directory in 1908. The Company is the official publisher of Bell Canada’s directories. YPG is also the official publisher of Telus’ directories, as well as of a number of other incumbent telephone company directories that have a leading market share in their respective markets. YPG is the incumbent directory publisher in Québec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia, the Territories and Atlantic Canada. In addition, YPG publishes four regional community directories in Saskatchewan.

Yellow Media owns and manages Canada’s most visited online directories YellowPages.ca™, and Canada411.ca™ as well as CanadaPlus.ca, a network of seven local city sites, including MontrealPlus.ca™, QuebecPlus.ca™, TorontoPlus.ca™, CalgaryPlus.ca™, EdmontonPlus.ca™, OttawaPlus.ca™ and VancouverPlus.ca™. These sites attract over 7 million unique visitors per month. The Company also owns and manages YourCommunity.com, an American directory site.

Yellow Media is the exclusive owner of the Yellow Pages™, Pages Jaunes^MC, Canada411™, Walking Fingers Design™ and Get It Pages™ trademarks in Canada and Your Community Phonebook™ trademark in the United States.

Nearly all of Yellow Media's revenues are derived from the sale of Yellow Pages™ directory advertising to businesses, mostly small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). Directory advertising is the advertising medium used most by Canadian SMEs, mainly due to its comparatively high return on investment.

As a complement to its national Canadian platform of directories, Yellow Media is a publisher of independent directories in selected Mid-Atlantic and Southeast American markets. The company operates print community directories under the Your Community Phonebook™ brand name.
