I keep hering rumblings about a possible joint venture... but no details. Judging by the market reaction to VMS achieing a deal with HBM... it looks like the market just isn't going to get excited about anything.
Hopefully the PDAC motivates investors into taking money off the sidelines and into the commodity sector. I think there is just a lack of cash coming into the whole market that is the problem.... The funds also siting it out, and the end result is that the dip maney have been afraid of eventually happens. The market is swayed right now more by the news than by fundementals of supply and demand.... there is little speculation in spite of robust commodity prices.
Without exploration and development funds coming into these sectors there will be massive shortages of some commodities. In short everyone has hit pause so they can get a drink and some popcorn before the show begins.
I figure the 2005 to 2006 chart wil be repeated.... Jr market may trend sideways for another 4 to 8 weeks.... then the show begins.
