Stock Synergy, Momentum & Breakout

i have not visited synergy in a number of years.

this morning i thought i would look in to see if the site is still open.

nice to see that you, wolfster and ckruel are still contributing.

for the past few years i have been on the sideline trying to index fund invest...boring...no real money made.

i completely missed the gold equity and gold etf run since jan. 1.

i am hoping to retire in two years and need to make up for lost time.

i will turn 60 at that time and due to no hobbies, no close friends, don't golf, or not volunteering, i will spend most of my time gambling ( watching th stock market ).

any suggestions as to which stocks or industries to start watching?

the leaves in manitoba are slightly starting to change colours and i don't want to sit through another winter of couch potato investing.
