Just got off the phone with the guy handling the Cliffs calls and trying to convince people to vote for the .19¢.

He asked me if I followed SPQ stock closely and actually asked me if I thought the .19¢ was fair. I said I didn't think so, and he said he's heard that a lot today !

I misled him after that and said I would read over the proposal and that I hadn't decided yet, but would consider it.

He seemed a bit defeated by the responses he's been getting. I think we should give them some false hope. He also mentioned Mineral Fields and their support of the bid.

But he also said that Mineral Fields is onside, and "intends" to vote for the .19¢. So it sounds like we can still change their minds. Operative word here is "intends".

He mentioned that Mineral Fields has 13.8 % of SPQ. That's not as high as I thought it would be.

hmmmmmm, me thinks we have a fighting chance here. Drew2222
