July 6th is a pressure (bluff) date for the two AMIGOS it is the start of real negotiations noty the end.
If you think CLIFFS will just walk away from this play why wait? those that thought that are already gone. and they are trying to make money on another play in the meantime.
Cliffs is playing these two one against the other, a very diferent scenario then when they went for fwr. in FWR they were "helping" MAC fend off NOT and decided why not finish it . They came right out and said they would increase the shs pr to where they would win the day...they werent going to let NOT take it.
In this case I believe the IMPORTANT aspect of this game is the control of the play not necessarily whta the paly holds in assets. Cliffs does not want someone else in their backyard, able to pull strings. they want to be pupet master. IE waht would happen if extrata were to get control of SPQ\KWG and they wanted to develop their area first...wouldnt matter that CLIFFS wanted FWR claims proceeding first extrata could outmaneuver them....DANGEROUS for Cliffs.
As long as that possibility exists cliffs will be woried... they dont have the gun WE DO please dont forget that.
