Hi everyone: Hoping all is well and everyone is preparing for an enjoyable summer and hopefully a memorable summer.
I apprecciate and fully respect most of the information that is presented on this forum but I just don't understand the urgency that everyone feels Cliffs should have. If I were in Cliffs shoes and knowing the current glut on the market and the world enconomic climate I would not be in any hurry to make a deal or even make an offer. We have not yet seen any real offer and we don't know if there is another interested party...so cool the jets and quit the speculation. I really appreciate the informative and calculated information but speculation should be left aside. Coulda woulda shoulda is not something in my vocabulary. IMHO we are a long way from any offer...there is no real sense of urgency here because the markets are still down and there exists a glut in this particular market. I'm holding but not totally confident this play will ever come to market. All the indicators are there that say it will but who builds the RR, where does the smelter go, when will the test pit commence, how will they get the equipment in to start the test pit...and then there are the variables that we have no control over such as the govt and the First Nations interests...and Thor. Too many variables at this time to expect Cliffs to make a reasonable offer. Needs to be de-risked. They are just stringing us along for the time being. But this is just my opinion. I truly hope that we do get a decent offer in the not too distant future. Respectfully submitted, Foghorn...holding long
