AGORACOM Silver Investment Community

I Believe in silver and gold as a hard currency, but must be in hand and in small enuff quantities to make a purchase. Can you just imagine taking a 1000 0z. bar in to buy groceries and need change? Silver and gold coins would seem the logical form to use. I have a 1000 oz silver cetificate and I know it would be very hard to purchase anything with it. When I do cash it in , I get US dollars. Wonder what that would buy? It's very confusing , stock, cash, large silver and gold all useless to buy daily needs. Perhaps I will hoard amunition and pain killers to trade for food and lodging>
