They don't even have to make it, they can just say they made it, photooshop something and store it with the unaudited gold.

They don't even have to do that. The US Treasury (or the Canadian Gvt.) have the ability to create currency. It's part of the old argument about whether currency should be created as debt, or created and capitalized directly, i.e. spent on infrastructure. Both have their problems, but the latter doesn't leave a vig for the bankers, so you know why the former is done now.

The global financial picture is one big clusterf**k right now. It will end in war.
