The crime syndicate must have crapped their pants when the enemy launched their full scale assault at $1440.00 . We were beaten back temporarily, however they are running out of ammo. About the only weapon they have left is higher interest rates and that would be like cutting off your head to save your foot. Higher rates might attract money to treasuries temporarily, however in my opinion it would probably backfire and cause massive inflation. Remember it is those that have debt that are hurt by high interest rates and last time I looked the US of A leads the way when it comes to debt.
