It is well known and public record that some of Goodman/Dundee's biggest holdings are Osisko and San Gold - if not the top 2, then at least in the top 5.
Enter George Pirie. Companies of interest - Northern Star, Bison Gold and San Gold. There are others, but these are the obvious ones.
NSM is right beside Osisko's Malartic deposit and it just so happens that after George became CEO of NSM a few months ago, the board resigns and the company files for bankruptcy. Gee, you think they might resurface after all the debt has been wiped out under control of the mother ship?
Right around that same time, George becomes a director of BGE which just happens to have a nice piece of pasture on the eastern edge of the Ross River Pluton, sandwiched between a few slices of San Gold. Hmmm...the westside of the pluton where RLM is located is Hinge central - you think the east hosts similar structure?
Not saying SGR's board is going to quit and the company declares bankruptcy or that BGE is going to take over Osisko and San Gold, but now that we can't belly ache about a TSX listing or a CEO without street cred, what are we going to talk about? Cash flow is obviously becoming a non issue, they have enough dough to increase the mill capacity so they obviously have the ore and grade to turn it up a few notches and exploration is unparalleled.
