The way I see it, and the way I'm sure the big investors see it, is that an asset is only 'worth' the money it is going to churn out back to you.... or what you can sell it for. In the buy and hold world, the former rules. In the mania world... well... we all know about $1M East Van sh-- boxes. Maybe we'll see that in gold before this is all said and done.
