I have another question bouncing around my mind lately.... here goes:
Assume for the moment that Don is holding some nice chips in his stack that can be used to pay off the Dart loan. (Some examples of those chips might be a Japan deal, a Middle East deal, a selloff of "new" formulas ready to move forward, etc.).
So let's say something like this happens to pay off the loan in its entirety and perhaps also put a little cash in the bank....
What then, would the company be worth? Any ideas?
As for my answer, I don't know (of course - yet again). But I do think there would be a significant jump in the enterprise value of RVX. We'd be left with a Phase 3 trial, a Phase 2 trial, and numerous future trials (not to mention many, many formulas that might also have value).
I think a deal like that would be a Godsend. And might also increase the valuation of Zenith, since Zenith would have a right to certain royalties from any such deal.
I'm interested to hear the thoughts of others on this topic....
