Shale plays account for 20-30% easily today of gas production...by 2013 analysts say 35-40%...so I think prices getting very high is a huge possibility if that were the case...shale shutting down won't happen and this is just hypothetical. Mr Binnion has countlessly said now just 5-10 years ago that NA was running out of gas, and looking to import. You remove shale plays altogether and you'd see huge prices.

Gas prices being depressed will only benefit plays where it is most economical...and in a full production scenario Quebec is definitely one of them.
