Great article. New Brunswick sees the advantages. QC will eventually as well, but in their own way and timeframe. The article seems to imply that there is sufficient regulatory framework in place to control the development until more specific regulations to enhance the shale gas exploration requirements are in place. All along ensuring the exploration and recovery work is completed in an environmentally controlled manner. Good on them. This will undoubtedly add pressure to the decision makers in Quebec. How would Quebec look with its neighbour New Brunswick benefiting from something that the QC politicians and citizens have been dithering over for some time now...especially after Newfounland ate their breakfast over the Churchill Falls project.
