Good post Canuck. I honestly have no more words for journalists. First they bashed the water recyling...now it is proven by the Trois Rivieres plant that the frac water they treated from TLM/QEC is cleaner than normal tap water. Now they are attacking air pollution LOL...frankly it is cleaner than oil and coal...recently it was said that natural gas from shale isn't 50% cleaner than coal, but possiby only 25%...but they are using that saying ooo look half as bad now...yet still 25% cleaner loooool.
Anyway, these guys are muppets. Government is supporting shale no matter what. They are broke big time and that's the bottom line. They will allow for exploration to continue to define the resource...legislation will come out toward the end of the year and be well done before the real 2014 exploitation.
These environmentalists (most of them) don't even live near drilling and won't at all be affected. They stick their noses into everything and thank god none of them are in government, because our country would be in the stone age if they were. They are just blah blah blah these days as Canuck mentioned.
Things will proceed in a proper manor. Recently government said no drilling near the big cities, which is great. Shows they are taking actions to set some rules up already.
