The deal with A*Star was announced in March and we were told of this in the Feb CC.
So there is follow through on these kinds of things that are suggested by POET in the negotiation phase. I think we will find the same when it comes to NRE pending the 850nm VCSEL and detector design results.
The way I think many of us see the near term is that spending should be focused on gaining near term revenue. I would expect POET to act accordingly to preserve long term shareholder value.
