Why was is so important for POET to raise this cash now?

They were suppose to pay 2.75% in commission which would have been $344520.00

They paid 7% which is $876,960 a difference of $532440.00

What was so urgent for them to pay this amount of money to the agents?

I really cannot understand this, something has to be up here!!
