I'm not sure what your point is. If you read the entirety of his post, the points he made were very clear. I think his reference to SV not being able to answer the question about what to tell 125 investors was about HOW he answered, rather than he gave no answer. It was kind of an off the cuff, glib and tragically ill informed response in retrospect.
As for his opinion and the just not true part, what? Re read it and the points he made about share price, dilution the VCSEL were tremendously insightful and as it turns out, far more accurate that what the company told us.
As for impressions of the leaders, I expect them to make a favorable impression to those they meet, charisma is part of what makes them leaders. It's also why we must temper those impressions with evidence.
