This is a fair point, about rank naivety on Suresh's part. He isn't a capital markets guy, but he isn't the only person running the show. He has a whole raft of, presumably, savvy individuals to call upon. This deal surely had to be ratified by the board? Can that many individuals of such esteem, be so positively incompetent?

I think the answer is no, they can't surely all be so daft. Which then begs the thought, there has to be a logical explanation for it. My bet is, it is a positive reason.
