An alternative would have been a Private Placement available to existing share holders. I'm sure many would have jumped at a chance to buy in more at $.70ish with a warrant attached.

Management could have cancelled the offering, I guess we will have to wait and see who bought and why we needed the money so fast at such a cost to it's existing shareholder base.
