It just happened, it is not a question. The "big names" of Rodman and Renshaw (and for that matter Apple, Facebook, Intel, or whatever other name these characters throw at you) are just not interested in a company like this at this time.
There is too much risk. How do they account for this? They offer them the reward. That is why the stock is offered at not just a 35% discount, but a 30% discount at that discounted rate ($0.80CDN-->$0.50CDN--->$0.36CDN).
Now they have a bit of incentive. The warrant price is definitely not reassuring at $0.52CDN over 5 years. I certainly hope we can get there again over 5 years...
Sad days for POET. I have contacted POET, IR, IIROC, SEC but I think in the end it is just an expensive lesson. We are swimming with sharks who do this for a living, if you aren't making money you are doing it wrong - and clearly from the Agora board it looks like that applies to many of us.
